Step 4 - On-Ice LEad Coaching

Follow this Link - https://www.usahockey.com/coachingcertification

You will need a helmet, gloves, and long pants while on the ice as a minimum equipment requirement.

This page will bring you to USA Hockey's landing page for getting a coach trained, registered, and prepared to effectively BEGIN to help youth hockey athletes. This training is important for numerous reasons. One of which is that even though you may have extensive hockey background, the nature of the game has evolved over time and things do change. We need our coaches to be able to run effective teams AND be a good role model while doing it.
