The PHHL Spring Season is a shorter version of our Fall Season, and typically runs from early March until early June. The season will start with Player Evaluations the weekend of March 8-10 and is a weekend based program with typically one practice and one game every weekend. The Season will end with Jamborees for the 6U and 8U divisions, as well as Playoffs and Championship games for 10U, 12U, 14U, 16/18U.
SPRING LEAGUE PLAYER EVALUATIONS March 8-10
Skill clinics are offered during the week for players to sign up for in-order to improve their skills throughout the season.
ALL Spring League participants SHOULD have a PHHL jersey for evaluations. We will need to note the number on the back of the player's jersey to properly evaluate each player when checking in for evaluation. Pinnies for those without jerseys, or duplicate numbers, will be available if needed.

All players have the ability to play up to the level they will be required to play in the Fall of 2024, or stay at their current level. This is a 100% personal choice, that is majorly based on maturity and skill set.
Payments
We offer two payment options for registering for the spring league. Families will have the option to pay in full at the time of registration or choose the "Payment Plan" option. This option will split the registration fee into 2 payments.
*6U/8U/16U/18U- $200 payment at registration. Remaining balance deducted on April 19th.
*10U/12U/14U-$300 payment at registration. Remaining balance deducted on April 19th.
Conferences
Upon registration you will be asked which Conference you would like to be a part of, North (Wake Forest/Ice Plex) ,South (Cary/Garner) or West (Invisalign Arena). These conferences only guarantee that your team's practices will be at your "home" rink. Games can be scheduled at any of our rinks.
**NO Conferences for 16U/18U
-Due to scheduling logistics each conference will have a capacity limit for each age group.
Division Make-Up
Each Division has the chance of being split into "Advanced" and "Regular" depending on registration numbers and skill level. The decision to split a division will be determined during Player Evaluation Weekend.
PHHL League Administrators along with team coaches will create teams based on past season rankings and current player evaluations from coaches. Our goal every season is to form teams and divisions that are competitive with each other. We want to place your player in a safe environment where they will be challenged but still competitive with those around them. This way all players have the opportunity to succeed while having fun. Players are subject to be moved as needed to facilitate league equality.
Uniform
ALL Spring League participants MUST have a PHHL jersey for evaluations. We will need to note the number on the back of the player's jersey to properly evaluate each player as we will not be using pinnies.
Every participant must have a PHHL Home and Away jersey when competing in league scheduled events. All players have the choice to use their past season's jerseys or purchase new ones. All new players must purchase jerseys prior to the start of the evaluations To receive a home and away jersey, along with socks, you must visit our online hockey store to order. (Additional store items are not required for season play)
