Payments
We offer two payment options for registering for the spring league.  Families will have the option to pay in full at the time of registration or choose the "Payment Plan" option. This option will split the registration fee into 2 payments.  Half the league fee will be deducted at the time of registration and the other half will be deducted on April 20.

Conferences
Upon registration you will be asked which Conference you would like to be a part of, North (Wake Forest) ,South (Cary/Garner) or Central (RCI/Ice Plex). These conferences only guarantee that your team's practices will be at your "home" rink. Games can be scheduled at any of our rinks.

Division Make-Up
Each Division has the chance of being split into "Advanced" and "Regular" depending on registration numbers and skill level. The decision to split a division will be determined during Player Evaluation Weekend.

Our goal every season is to form teams and divisions that are competitive with each other. We want to place your player in a safe environment where they will be challenged but still competitive with those around them. This way all players have the opportunity to succeed while having fun.

Uniform
Every participant must have a PHHL Home and Away jersey when competing in league scheduled games. All players have the choice to use their past season's jerseys or purchase new ones. All new players must purchase jerseys prior to the start of the first league scheduled games. To receive a home and away jersey, along with socks, you must visit our new online hockey store to order.  (Additional store items are not required for season play)

FYI-Players may choose any number to have pressed on their jersey

Spring Hurricanes House League Player Evaluations

Players Evaluations will be held March 13-15

Player Evaluations are used to help the league and the coaches determine the best way to split the players up in order to create the most competitive division for each age classification. There are no cuts made during these sessions. Everyone is encouraged to attend both of their group's scheduled evaluation sessions.

We do this to help better determine what the make-up of each division should look like (Advanced/Regular). There is no guarantee that there will or will not be an Advanced and Regular Division. This decision is all dependent on the number of registrations and the skill of those participating. The Division Make-Up is decided the weekend of Evaluations and the league will have final say as to who will be placed into each division.

If you cannot attend one or both of your scheduled sessions please notify the league. Your player will still be placed on a team but the league may need a coach's reference in order to properly place him/her.

All Group Designations are determined by LAST NAME.

Group Designations will be determined the afternoon of March 12th. We have to wait until everyone has registered before making the designations.

Those whose last names are towards the beginning of the alphabet can assume they will be in Group 1. Those whose last names are towards the end of the alphabet can assume they will be in Group 2 or 3 (Depending on your division)  Those whose last names lie in the middle will have to wait until the final schedule is posted with Group Designations. There is a chance we will need to divide divisions into three groups.
